Senior QA Engineer | Contractor | Remote – Select Countries
Turing is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our Reinforcement Learning (RL) Gym platform. This is a 6-month contractor role with flexible weekly hour commitments (20, 30, or 40 hrs/week), open to candidates in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Role Overview
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the testing strategy for RL environments, agents, and training workflows — ensuring correctness, reproducibility, and reliability across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for RL environments and pipelines
- Validate reward logic, state transitions, and environment behavior
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (PyTest or similar)
- Ensure reproducibility and data integrity across ML experiments
- Perform API, integration, and performance testing
- Collaborate closely with ML and engineering teams to identify and address edge cases
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time QA engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and hands-on test automation experience (PyTest or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and debugging techniques
- Basic knowledge of Reinforcement Learning concepts
- Experience with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed systems
- Prior experience on ML/AI-based projects
- Strong SQL skills and backend QA experience (API, services, data validation)
Engagement Details
- Type: Contractor (no medical/paid leave benefits)
- Duration: 6 months, starting next week
- Commitment: Minimum 20 hrs/week (options: 20, 30, or 40 hrs/week); at least 4 hrs/day with 4-hour overlap with PST
- Evaluation: Two rounds of technical interviews (~90 minutes total)
