Senior Software Engineer | $50–70/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a contractor. This role is ideal for an expert-level engineer who thrives in a polyglot environment and is passionate about writing clean, performant, and maintainable code across a variety of languages and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python 3, Java, Rust, TypeScript, and C++
• Identify and resolve bugs efficiently to ensure system stability and reliability
• Implement new features in alignment with product and engineering goals
• Lead and contribute to codebase refactoring efforts to improve structure and maintainability
• Drive performance optimization initiatives across services and applications
• Apply strong algorithmic thinking to solve complex engineering challenges

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, and TypeScript
• Working knowledge of C++ fundamentals
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Proven experience with bug fixing, feature development, and code refactoring
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment

This is a contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $50 and $70 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
