Senior Software Engineer | $50–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a contractor. This role is ideal for an expert-level engineer who thrives in a polyglot environment and is passionate about writing clean, performant, and maintainable code across a variety of languages and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python 3, Java, Rust, TypeScript, and C++
• Implement new features and enhancements across existing codebases
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs efficiently and thoroughly
• Lead and contribute to codebase refactoring efforts to improve structure and maintainability
• Optimize application performance across critical systems and workflows
• Apply strong algorithmic thinking to solve complex engineering challenges

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, and TypeScript
• Working knowledge of C++ fundamentals
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Proven experience with bug fixing, feature development, and performance optimization
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment

Compensation

$50–$100/hr depending on experience and expertise.
