Senior Technical Architect | $40–100/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our software engineering team as an expert-level contractor. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and production-grade architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Author and develop Cloud Benchmark Tasks to evaluate and improve system performance standards
• Design and oversee Cloud and Distributed Systems Architecture across scalable, resilient environments
• Take full ownership of Production Infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and implement architectural best practices
• Provide expert-level guidance on cloud strategy, system design, and infrastructure optimization

Required Skills

• Cloud Benchmark Task Authoring — experience designing and documenting cloud performance benchmarks
• Cloud & Distributed Systems Architecture — proven ability to architect large-scale, fault-tolerant systems
• Production Infrastructure Ownership — hands-on experience managing and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $40–$100/hr (based on experience)
• Engagement: Contract
