Sinhala Language AI Trainer at Invisible Tech

Sinhala Language AI Trainer | $6–$65/hr | Worldwide Remote | Freelance Contract

We are seeking a native-level Sinhala language expert to join a specialized AI data project as a Language Alignment & Resource Partner (LARP). In this role, you will evaluate, annotate, and validate AI-generated content to ensure outputs are linguistically natural, culturally accurate, and free from bias. This is a fully remote, independent contractor engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Annotation & Review: Evaluate AI outputs for grammatical accuracy, natural phrasing, and cultural appropriateness in Sinhala.
• Quality Assurance: Serve as a primary quality checkpoint during production, identifying and correcting subtle cultural errors or unnatural language.
• Resource Development: Analyze quality trends and create structured educational resources and feedback documentation to improve AI alignment.
• Linguistic Consultation: Provide native-level language vetting and specialized consultation throughout the project's production and scaling phases.

Required Qualifications

• Background in linguistics, education, or a field requiring strong attention to linguistic detail.
• Demonstrated experience in human data evaluation or annotation.
• Verified Sinhala language proficiency at C1 or C2 level.
• Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into clear, actionable educational materials.
• Meticulous eye for subtle unnatural phrasing and cultural nuance in Sinhala.
