Sociology Teacher (Postsecondary) | $50–90/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Postsecondary Sociology Teacher to join our team as a contractor. This role sits within the humanities domain and is ideal for a generalist educator with a strong foundation in social sciences and pedagogy. You will contribute to curriculum development, task design, and learner feedback in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clear, measurable task prompts aligned with learning objectives
• Develop and apply evaluation rubrics to assess learner performance
• Review and provide constructive, detailed feedback on submitted work
• Synthesize relevant literature and research to support course content
• Apply foundational pedagogical frameworks, including Bloom's Taxonomy, to guide instructional design

Required Skills

• Proficiency in designing evaluation rubrics
• Ability to write clear and measurable task prompts
• Basic to intermediate pedagogical knowledge (Bloom's Taxonomy and related frameworks)
• Experience reviewing work and delivering actionable feedback
• Strong ability to synthesize academic literature and research on sociological topics

Compensation: $50–90/hr, depending on experience and scope of work.
