Sociology Teacher (Postsecondary) | $50–90/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Postsecondary Sociology Teacher to join our team as a contractor. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for educators with a strong background in the humanities and a passion for clear, effective instruction and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive evaluation rubrics that align with learning objectives
• Write clear, measurable task prompts to guide student performance
• Apply foundational pedagogical frameworks, including Bloom's Taxonomy, to instructional design
• Review student work and provide constructive, actionable feedback
• Synthesize relevant literature and research on sociological topics to support course content

Ideal Candidate

• Background in sociology or a related humanities discipline
• Experience in postsecondary education or instructional design
• Strong written communication and analytical skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Generalist approach with the ability to cover a broad range of sociological topics
