• Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and resolve software issues from large open-source codebases
  • Write, test, and validate code solutions for bugs and inefficiencies
  • Implement and refine APIs, database structures, and backend components for AI workflows
  • Configure local development environments to replicate and investigate complex issues
• Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven contributions to major open-source repositories (e.g., astropy, django, matplotlib, pytest, scikit-learn, sphinx, sympy)
  • Advanced Python skills, API development, and structured testing
  • Excellent analytical and communication abilities
  • Residency in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
• Opportunity Details:
