Software Engineer (Generalist) | $50–70/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for a generalist engineer who thrives across multiple domains of software development, from automation and scripting to API integration and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across the full development lifecycle
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and delivery processes
• Write clean, efficient Python scripts for automation and tooling
• Develop and integrate REST APIs to support application functionality
• Contribute to QA efforts, including writing and executing tests to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

Required Skills

• CI/CD – Experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
• Python – Proficient in scripting and backend development
• REST API – Strong understanding of API design and consumption
• Scripting – Ability to automate workflows and processes
• QA – Familiarity with testing frameworks and quality assurance practices
