Software Engineer - Code Review (Rust) | $85/hr | Remote: US, UK, CA, AU, NZ

Mercor is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with deep Rust expertise and a strong background in code review. In this contract role, you will audit real-world GitHub issues, pull requests, and test cases to help evaluate and improve AI models focused on code reasoning and bug fixing across diverse programming languages.

• Analyze and review actual GitHub repositories, issues, and pull requests for quality and accuracy.
• Support the evaluation of AI systems designed to reason about and improve codebases.
• Work with large-scale, collaborative codebases using Git/GitHub.
• Contribute your expertise in CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing, and open-source development.
• Flexible, fully remote, and asynchronous work—set your own schedule (20+ hours/week).
