About the Role:
Mercor is seeking talented Software Engineers to support leading AI research labs. This role specifically involves writing and reviewing thorough unit test suites to enhance complex, production-grade, often open-source codebases. You will collaborate directly with pioneering AI researchers and engineering leads.
Ideal Candidate:
2+ years professional or significant open-source experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Demonstrated expertise in writing detailed unit tests for large-scale, production-level projects
Strong contributions to high-profile or technically complex open-source projects
Comfortable navigating extensive, unfamiliar codebases
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
Committed to precision, comprehensive code coverage, and maintaining best testing practices
