About the Role:
Mercor is hiring Software Testing Specialists with strong engineering backgrounds to collaborate on a project with a leading AI research lab. You will evaluate and optimize software patches, recommend enhancements, and collaborate asynchronously to improve systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the effectiveness of software patches for existing codebases.
Recommend and optimize enhancements for technical accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate asynchronously with product and AI teams to refine and enhance systems.
Ideal Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience in both Software Engineering and Testing.
Proficiency in Python (required).
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, or React Native (preferred).
Experience working with large codebases, making or approving Pull Requests (PRs).
Strong skills in writing and reviewing test cases.
Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation abilities.
Project Details:
Start Date: Immediate (07/18)
Duration: Approximately 2–4 days
Commitment: Part-time (20–40 hours/week)
Fully remote and asynchronous—work according to your schedule.
