Mercor is partnering with a leading language-learning platform to recruit experienced Spanish tutors for a short-term, remote project. Tutors will conduct recorded, one-on-one Spanish lessons with native English-speaking learners across varying proficiency levels, producing natural and authentic language-learning conversations.

What You'll Do

• Lead engaging, one-on-one Spanish tutoring sessions tailored to each learner's proficiency level.
• Adapt lesson structure and communication style to individual learners and assigned topics.
• Encourage natural, substantive back-and-forth conversation throughout each session.
• Follow provided lesson guidelines and project instructions closely.
• Keep sessions focused, avoiding extended dead air or off-topic discussion.
• Conduct sessions that run a minimum of 20 minutes (typically 20–30 minutes).

Who Should Apply

• Fluent Spanish speakers with strong verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum of three years of Spanish teaching or tutoring experience.
• Proven experience teaching native English speakers at multiple proficiency levels.
• Reliable availability and a strong record of punctuality.
• Comfortable participating in recorded online sessions.
