Special Education Teacher Expert | $40–$70/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async Contract

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to help shape the future of AI. In this role, you will design realistic IEP and intervention scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and improve model judgment in high-stakes educational contexts. Work is fully remote, asynchronous, and paid weekly.

What You'll Do

• Develop authentic IEP documents, accommodation plans, and intervention scenarios for AI model testing
• Apply your expertise in special education law, instructional strategy, and differentiated learning to create nuanced, realistic cases
• Document instructional and legal reasoning clearly in written English
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team dedicated to responsible AI development

Requirements

• Active special education certification, license, or equivalent credential
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in special education settings
• Deep knowledge of IEP development, student accommodations, and differentiated instruction
• Strong written English communication skills for documenting complex reasoning
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week

Compensation & Details

• Rate: $40–$70/hr based on experience
