MICRO1 is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Specialized Industries Expert to support business operations across a range of complex, domain-specific fields. This contractor role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in government contracting, maritime logistics, nonprofit management, or education technology — combined with hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply domain expertise to support and optimize business operations across specialized industries
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, and AI Agents to enhance workflows and productivity
• Work with Workplace Connectors to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems
• Provide guidance on Government Contracting, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS compliance
• Support procurement processes and commodities management
• Assist with maritime operations, shipping, and logistics coordination
• Manage or advise on grant management and nonprofit operations, including fundraising strategies
• Contribute to education operations and EdTech initiatives
• Leverage knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive intelligent solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with AI tools: ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, AI Agents, and Workplace Connectors
• Experience in one or more of the following: Government Contracting, FAR/DFARS, Procurement, Commodities, Maritime/Shipping/Logistics, Grant Management, Nonprofit Operations, Fundraising, Education/EdTech
• Strong understanding of LLMs and their practical business applications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $30 and $80 per hour, depending on experience and area of specialization.
