Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to recruit expert Sports Analytics Evaluators for a high-impact evaluation workflow. In this role, you will assess AI-generated research reports covering player statistics, team performance, league standings, historical records, and advanced game analytics.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking professionals with a strong foundation in sports analytics, data analysis, or related disciplines. Ideal candidates will have:

• 2–3 years of professional experience in sports analytics, performance analysis, or sports data research
• Hands-on experience with player statistics, advanced metrics, and performance indicators
• Familiarity with team performance data, win-loss trends, and efficiency metrics
• Experience analyzing league standings, rankings, and seasonal comparisons
• Exposure to historical sports records and longitudinal performance datasets
• Ability to interpret game analytics including play-by-play data, predictive models, and advanced statistical metrics
• Experience sourcing and validating sports datasets from credible public sources
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written communication

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Sports Management, Economics, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated research reports for accuracy, relevance, data integrity, and clarity
• Assess insights derived from player statistics, team metrics, and game analytics
• Verify statistical tables, historical records, and league data using reputable public sources
• Identify inconsistencies in performance analysis, comparative metrics, and trend interpretations
• Complete evaluations independently and within deadlines
• Maintain consistency and precision across all assigned tasks
