Join a forward-thinking data team at Turing, working on a cutting-edge commercial real estate (CRE) data platform. This role blends data quality engineering with business analysis — you'll work hands-on within a Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) in Snowflake, ensuring property, availability, tenancy, and comp data is clean, standardized, and actionable for brokers, researchers, and leadership.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and validate property, availability, tenancy, and comp data as it flows through Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers — catching quality issues before they reach downstream users.
• Build automated data validation checks, including AI-assisted anomaly detection, to proactively identify bad data.
• Standardize CRE data fields (property type, rent type, rate type, lease structure) to ensure consistent terminology across all source systems.
• Define and track data quality metrics — completeness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, and duplication rate — and report them to stakeholders regularly.
• Investigate discrepancies between internal systems, external data feeds, and source documents, tracing root causes back to the pipeline stage.
• Analyze CRE data to surface meaningful patterns: vacancy trends, rent growth, tenant turnover, lease expirations, and comparable sales activity.
• Translate findings into clear business insights — build dashboards, write summaries, and respond to ad hoc questions from brokers and leadership.
• Collaborate with data and AI engineers to resolve quality issues at the source rather than patching them downstream.
• Document data lineage, transformation logic, and quality rules to ensure full auditability and reproducibility.
• Recommend AI/ML approaches to automate validation tasks such as anomaly detection, deduplication, and document classification.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience as a data analyst, ideally in commercial real estate, financial services, or a similarly data-intensive industry.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Familiarity with Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) or similar layered data architectures.
• Proven track record of building and improving data quality and validation frameworks.
• Experience applying AI/ML to data quality challenges: anomaly detection, entity resolution, document extraction, etc.
• Proficiency with a BI tool (Power BI or Tableau) and Python for analysis and automation.
• Strong business acumen — you connect data findings to real-world implications for brokers, asset managers, and clients.
• Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRE data platforms such as CoStar, RealNex, Yardi, or MRI.
• Familiarity with a data catalog or data governance tool.
