Join a leading technology team as a Senior Hardware Technical Program Manager, where you'll drive the end-to-end definition, execution, and delivery of complex hardware programs. This role demands strong cross-functional leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on coordination with engineering, supply chain, and external partners to bring consumer electronics products from development to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints while managing moderate-to-complex risk factors.
  • Lead program-level strategic planning and engage with senior management to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage internal teams and contractors to deliver systems and enhancements meeting specified requirements.
  • Coordinate engineering design deliverables including specifications, DOE, and validation plans.
  • Manage hardware component delivery for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines.
  • Create and maintain development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on technical and business needs.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and setbacks — including vendor tooling schedules and design sprints — to leadership.
  • Ensure all program documentation is complete, current, and accessible for stakeholder review.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a technology development program manager in consumer electronics.
  • Experience working with overseas hardware component suppliers and ODM/JDM/CM vendor engagement models.
  • Solid knowledge of phase gate approaches to technology development programs.
  • Experience with mechanical system development, DFM, tooling, validation, and characterization processes.
  • Strong project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.

This is a W-2 full-time engagement administered through Cincinnatus, an enterprise staffing company placing professionals within leading technology client teams.
