Sr. ServiceNow Engineer (HRSD) at Turing

Sr. ServiceNow Engineer (HRSD & Integrations) | Full Time | Hybrid/Offshore

Turing is seeking an experienced ServiceNow HR Service Delivery & Integrations Senior Engineer to design, configure, and support employee-service solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role blends deep HRSD expertise with enterprise integration engineering to deliver secure, scalable HR workflows across the full employee lifecycle. Ideal for a hands-on engineer who can bridge HR process requirements and platform engineering with clarity and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance HR Case Management, HR Services, COEs, templates, assignment rules, SLAs, and employee-facing experiences.
• Design lifecycle workflows including onboarding, transfers, leave services, offboarding, and cross-functional fulfillment.
• Build HR service catalog items, record producers, forms, flows, notifications, approvals, and service-level controls.
• Configure Employee Center or HR portals with taxonomy, personalization, and role-based experiences.

• Design and support integrations with HR platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, payroll, benefits, identity, and document management systems.
• Implement integrations via Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted REST APIs, MID Server, SFTP, import sets, transform maps, and webhooks.
• Define interface contracts, field mappings, error handling, retries, reconciliation, monitoring, and alerting procedures.
• Implement secure authentication using OAuth, certificates, SAML/OIDC, and least-privilege access patterns.

• Develop using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Flow Designer, and scoped application components.
• Apply ServiceNow development standards including code reviews, source control, update sets, automated testing, and CI/CD controls.
• Troubleshoot complex workflow, security, integration, and data-quality issues across environments.
• Support platform upgrades by assessing impacts, remediating skipped changes, and minimizing technical debt.

• Protect sensitive HR data through robust roles, ACLs, COE security, data segregation, encryption, and audit support.
• Follow privacy, retention, and compliance requirements for employee data and integration payloads.
• Partner with HR, security, risk, and architecture teams to document controls and remediation actions.

• Collaborate with HR product owners, business analysts, architects, and vendors to refine requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Produce technical designs, data mappings, configuration documentation, test evidence, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, UAT support, deployment, hypercare, and production support.
• Mentor developers and serve as a technical escalation point for HRSD and integration issues.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on HRSD implementation.
• Strong knowledge of HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Employee Center, HR portals, Flow Designer, and HR security.
• Demonstrated integration experience using Integration Hub, REST, SOAP, MID Server, import sets, and SFTP interfaces.
• Advanced JavaScript and Glide API skills with experience in Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with PeopleSoft or Workday and managing employee data securely.
• Solid understanding of OAuth, SAML/OIDC, secure credential handling, audit logging, and least-privilege design.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, upgrade validation, source control, and production support practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD (strongly preferred).
• Micro-certifications in IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, or Automated Test Framework.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Workday, Azure integration services, and enterprise identity platforms.
• Exposure to Now Assist for HRSD, Virtual Agent, AI Search, and Performance Analytics.
