Senior Technical Product Operations Specialist | $60–80/hr | Remote (US)

Join a prestigious tech company's Product & Regulatory Operations organization as a Senior Technical Product Operations Specialist. In this high-impact role, you'll drive product growth, engagement, and quality through data-driven decision-making, advanced SQL analysis, AI-assisted workflows, and technical tooling — all while collaborating closely with product, engineering, legal, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead program execution strategy across multiple products and platforms, including 0-to-1 initiatives and quality improvement efforts via programmatic and technical solutions
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to collect, transform, and analyze product data — surfacing trends and insights that drive business decisions
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations (internal tools, Google Sheets) to support real-time stakeholder decision-making
  • Leverage AI agents and tools to accelerate data analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and prototype solutions
  • Proactively identify program risks, develop data-backed mitigation plans, and communicate clearly across cross-functional teams
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, identifying opportunities and predicting roadblocks through rigorous data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or technical product operations / program management
  • Proficient in SQL — including CTEs, window functions, joins, aggregations, and data transformations
  • Hands-on experience with AI agents and AI-assisted workflows
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, automated workflows)
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects without close supervision
  • Effective critical thinker who leverages data to anticipate and resolve problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with VS Code or similar development environments
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code prototyping or AI-assisted code generation
  • Experience building dashboards with tools like Tableau or Looker
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, or data infrastructure concepts
  • Background in quality assurance, triage operations, or ML/AI validation workflows
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams on technical specifications and requirements
  • Experience developing and implementing manual and automated test strategies
