STEM PhD / Technical Domain Expert | $55–80/hr | Remote (US, UK & Canada)

Mercor is partnering with one of the world's leading AI labs to find highly qualified STEM PhDs and technical domain experts. In this role, you will apply your subject matter expertise to help develop high-quality training data that shapes the future of large language model (LLM) research and AI innovation.

Who You Are

• Hold a PhD or advanced degree (or equivalent industry experience) in one of the following fields: Medicine / Healthcare, Statistics & Data Science, AI/ML Research, Computer Science, Game Development, or Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
• Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
• Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Screening Process

Candidates will complete a short interview and task (approximately 20–30 minutes). If selected, up to 1 hour of onboarding time — including onboarding videos — will be compensated.
