Structural Engineer Expert | $110–$195/hr | Worldwide Remote | Async Contract

AFTERQUERY is seeking experienced structural engineers to develop analysis and design scenarios used by frontier AI labs to evaluate and test model judgment. This is a flexible, fully remote, asynchronous contract role with weekly pay.

What You'll Do

• Build realistic structural analysis and design scenarios that challenge and assess AI model reasoning
• Document structural engineering logic clearly and thoroughly in written English
• Apply knowledge of industry codes and standards to create technically rigorous test cases
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team of engineering and AI professionals

Required Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• 2+ years of structural design or analysis experience
• Strong working knowledge of codes such as ASCE 7, ACI, or AISC
• Excellent written English communication skills for documenting structural reasoning
• Ability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
