Operations/Supply Chain Expert | Contractor | Remote (PST overlap required)

About the Role

Turing is an AI company that works with leading AI labs and builds real-world AI systems. In this role, you will fine-tune large language models by grounding advanced logistics and supply chain domain logic. You will evaluate and refine AI-generated tools, ensuring outputs match professional logistics standards.

What You'll Do

• Define discovery parameters (fleet size, service area, time windows, capacity limits) and operational guardrails (driver hours-of-service compliance, weight/volume constraints, delivery SLAs) for AI builders and canvases.
• Co-design interview workflows and validate context files, including dispatch logs, driver rosters, and shipment manifests.
• Verify routing and assignment logic, SLA and cost formulas, and validation lists across tools such as route planners, work order managers, and vendor trackers.
• Review and sign off on AI-generated outputs to ensure alignment with professional logistics and field-ops practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years in logistics, fleet dispatch, supply chain management, or field-service operations.
• Hands-on familiarity with routing and scheduling, driver assignment rules, shipment tracking, and delivery cost metrics (e.g., SLA adherence, cost-per-mile vs. cost-per-stop).
• Strong professional writing skills and the ability to translate complex dispatch rules into deterministic spreadsheet formulas, capacity constraints, and data validation structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills to construct, evaluate, and calibrate routing workflows and inventory management frameworks.
• A personal desktop/laptop with stable, high-speed internet in a remote setup.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
• Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.

Schedule & Engagement

• 40 hours per week with 8 hours of overlap with PST.
• Contractor engagement, up to 10 weeks.
• Weekend on-call availability required (part-time engagement acceptable).
