MICRO1 is seeking a skilled Technical Problem Author with a generalist background in sciences research to craft high-quality, technically rigorous problems across multiple engineering and scientific disciplines. This is a fully remote contractor role ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of technical expertise and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Author well-structured, accurate technical problems spanning multiple domains including mechanical engineering, aerodynamics, and CAD-based design
• Ensure problems are clearly written, technically sound, and appropriately challenging for their intended audience
• Collaborate with internal teams to align problem sets with curriculum or assessment goals
• Review and revise existing problem content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and drafting problem creation
• Strong understanding of Aerodynamics principles and applications
• Background in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on or academic experience
• Experience in sciences research or a related generalist technical field
• Excellent written communication skills with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly
