Wireless Technical Program Manager | $70–95/hr | Redmond, WA (On-Site)

Join a cutting-edge Augmented Reality Hardware team and lead multidisciplinary programs through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. You'll drive the development of next-generation custom and semi-custom wireless modules and subsystems powering industry-leading consumer AR products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the AR wireless engineering team to define, design, and execute hardware projects from concept to mass production
  • Develop and manage wireless development schedules, keeping stakeholders informed and proactively addressing potential setbacks
  • Drive best practices and technology development processes cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables including architecture definitions, build goals, and wireless requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely firmware releases for factory builds
  • Track and report engineering issues during the build process, providing regular status updates to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Program Manager, managing hardware or firmware projects
  • 3+ years of experience with wireless hardware module projects
  • 3+ years of wireless design and/or implementation experience in hardware and/or firmware
  • Experience with component and module qualification, validation, and characterization processes
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer wireless hardware product development, including firmware integration
  • Proven ability to communicate and operate autonomously across multiple teams and projects
