Join a leading technology team as a Technical Program Manager II focused on semiconductor and hardware programs. This is a full-time, onsite W-2 contract role based in Sunnyvale, CA, employed through Cincinnatus and embedded directly within a top-tier client's engineering organization.

About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead the definition, implementation, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs spanning semiconductor, hardware, consumer electronics, and camera module development. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, manage matrixed teams, and drive programs from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programs within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints while managing moderate-to-complex risk factors.
  • Lead program-level strategic planning and engage with executive-level management on priorities and decisions.
  • Manage internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors across multiple projects.
  • Oversee scope definition, requirements gathering, scheduling, budget management, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive clear communication and alignment across multiple organizational levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • PMP or PMI certification required.
  • Experience in camera module hardware development using the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Background in consumer electronics and semiconductor environments.
  • Knowledge of optics and mechanical systems.
  • Strong skills in project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning within large organizations.
  • Proven people management and team-building capabilities.
  • Ability to assess risk and apply sound management principles to technology products and business functions.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle and large-scale, multi-platform systems environments.
