Technical & Scientific Sales Rep | AI Training Contractor | Worldwide Remote

Turing is seeking experienced Technical and Scientific Sales Representatives to help train advanced AI systems. In this short-term contractor role, you'll create and evaluate realistic sales scenarios — from discovery and demos to proposals and objection handling — helping AI models produce credible, customer-focused solutions for complex technical sales environments.

Role Overview

You will design, evaluate, and refine tasks that reflect real technical and scientific sales workflows, including prospecting, needs discovery, solution positioning, technical demonstrations, proposal development, and account growth. Your expertise ensures AI outputs are technically accurate, commercially relevant, and practically sound.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality expert tasks and solutions aligned to the pod's quality standards.
• Incorporate calibration feedback from senior reviewers and iterate accordingly.
• Apply rubric standards set by the Functional SME (Expert) Lead.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in technical or scientific sales, solutions consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
• Background in engineering, life sciences, healthcare, technology, or another technical discipline.
• Proven ability to conduct discovery conversations and assess solution fit across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Skilled at explaining complex products clearly and addressing technical objections.
• Able to create realistic tasks covering discovery, solution mapping, demos, proposals, and customer recommendations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
• Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or quality assurance is a plus but not required.

Engagement Details

• Type: Contractor
• Duration: Up to 9 weeks
• Commitment: Minimum 4 hours/day, up to 40 hours/week, with at least 4 hours of overlap with PST
