Tele-Health Professionals | Remote
Pay: $100 to $150 per hour • Flexible Hours • Contract Role

Mercor is seeking licensed healthcare providers to collaborate with a frontier AI lab on developing next-generation digital health tools. We are looking for registered nurses with advanced phone and chat assessment skills, nurse practitioners or physician assistants experienced in virtual urgent care, and physicians who are comfortable providing care remotely. This is a short-term contract with the potential for extension, offering the chance to influence AI-driven healthcare while maintaining full control over your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct triage via phone, chat, or video using evidence-based clinical pathways.

• Assess symptom severity, offer safe self-care guidance, or refer patients to higher levels of care.

• Review and edit AI-generated medical content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.

• Document encounters accurately within the client’s tele-health platform while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

• Collaborate with clinical operations and product teams to refine triage protocols and workflows.

Ideal Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN, NP, PA, or MD/DO license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensing preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care.

• Previous tele-health or nurse advice-line experience with phone or chat triage protocols such as Schmitt-Thompson.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical concepts to non-clinical audiences.

• Reliable internet connection and a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Opportunity Details

• Fully remote with both real-time and asynchronous options available.

• 10 to 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling.

• Initial 3-month contract with the possibility of renewal.

• All necessary clinical tools and protocol access provided.

Compensation and Terms

• $100 to $150 per hour USD, depending on credentials and scope of work, with potential performance bonuses.

• Independent contractor arrangement, giving you control over how and when you work.

• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect.
