Turing is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our Text2SQL project team. In this role, you'll leverage deep SQL expertise to analyze complex data models, collaborate with business stakeholders, and translate real-world requirements into accurate, efficient SQL code. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic
- Analyze and interpret existing data models and database schemas
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Translate business requirements into SQL code that accurately reflects business logic
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL code
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of SQL implementations
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to established development standards
- Debug and optimize SQL queries for performance improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
- Support testing activities and resolve data-related issues
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on SQL development experience
- Proficiency in at least one SQL dialect, including: Databricks SQL, T-SQL (SQL Server), PL/SQL (Oracle), MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS platforms
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
- Ability to read and interpret complex data models and ERDs
- Experience translating business requirements into SQL logic
- Solid command of joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL concepts
- Experience with data transformation and aggregation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Understanding of data quality and validation techniques
