Transactions Associate | $100–200/hr | Worldwide Remote

We are seeking a skilled Transactions Associate to join our legal team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with deep expertise in commercial transactions, contract lifecycle management, and negotiation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and refine contract playbooks to standardize negotiation positions and internal processes
• Perform detailed redlining of complex commercial agreements, identifying risk and proposing practical solutions
• Lead contract drafting across a variety of transaction types, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and legal compliance
• Drive contract negotiations with counterparties, balancing business objectives with legal risk management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders to advise on transactional matters

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in commercial or transactional law
• Strong proficiency in redlining and contract drafting across diverse agreement types
• Experience building or working with contract playbooks
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

This is a fully remote contractor engagement offering competitive hourly compensation between $100 and $200 per hour, commensurate with experience.
