Turing is seeking a bilingual Norwegian/English Transcription Specialist to help train and improve large language models (LLMs). This is a fully remote contractor role where your analytical and linguistic skills directly shape the future of AI — no specialized domain experience required.

What You'll Do

  • Answer analytical questions and create training scenarios that help LLMs learn and improve.
  • Read, summarize, and break down large content into clear, logical segments.
  • Conduct online research to validate claims and support model training.
  • Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations on model outputs.
  • Collaborate with AI systems to solve logic puzzles and reasoning challenges.

Example Tasks

  • Analyze sales distribution data across locations and time periods to identify growth trends.
  • Solve constraint-based logic puzzles (e.g., delivery route sequencing) and explain the reasoning behind correct answers.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Norwegian (mandatory).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide detailed, constructive feedback and annotations.
  • Creative and lateral thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Availability to commit to 40 hours per week, overlapping US business hours.
  • Reliable desktop or laptop with a strong internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field (candidates without a degree but with relevant experience are welcome).
  • Professional writing experience (e.g., business analyst, copywriter, journalist, technical writer, translator, or editor).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
  • Proficiency in data interpretation, logical reasoning, and basic arithmetic.
