Mercor is seeking experienced video captioning experts to join an innovative AI-driven project, creating detailed and nuanced annotations for diverse video clips. Ideal candidates include movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, film writers, video-tagging specialists, media analysts, and detail-oriented content annotators.
You'll collaborate closely with Mercor coordinators and our client's annotation leads to benchmark and refine AI models through detailed, multi-attribute descriptions of videos. Tasks involve annotating subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal flow, mood, and narrative elements clearly and succinctly.
Experience in film/video production, editing, screenwriting, media analysis, archival research, or content annotation.
Sharp analytical judgment to accurately capture subtle narrative elements.
Exceptional attention to detail and clear, concise writing skills.
Comfortable with multi-round collaborative reviews and feedback.
Quick learner, capable of adapting to new annotation systems and schemas.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Flexible, remote, asynchronous schedule.
Up to 40 hours per week available.
Project duration: Minimum 4-5 weeks, potential for extension.
Immediate onboarding (within 1-2 days of application).
Hourly contractor position.
Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect.
