About the Role:
Mercor is seeking Visual Design Experts to help benchmark and refine visual and typographic content for a leading AI lab. You will work with a team of creative professionals to analyze, design, and evaluate high-impact visual and textual experiences across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft and assess visual design, UI, and typographic content for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate directly with Mercor coordinators and the client’s research/design leads.
Provide detailed feedback on type hierarchy, grid systems, layout, and overall visual storytelling.
Synthesize online research and design guidance into actionable recommendations.
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience in product/UI design, editorial or magazine layout, brand/visual systems, digital publishing, or book production.
Deep understanding of type hierarchy, grid systems, and visual storytelling.
Strong online research and synthesis skills.
High attention to detail and exceptional written/verbal communication.
Role Highlights:
Rolling start dates with rapid onboarding (within 1–2 days of application).
Up to 40 hours of work available per week.
Fully remote and asynchronous; work is flexible and can fit your schedule.
Project length: Minimum of 2–3 weeks, with potential for extension.
