Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning at Mercor

Voice Actor (Canadian French) | $50–150/hr | Remote – Canada

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to recruit Canada-based, native Canadian French voice actors capable of delivering neutral, international French speech. Your recordings will be used exclusively to build a next-generation CX AI Agent for a single client — they will not be sold, licensed, or repurposed in any way.

Important: This role involves voice cloning. Please apply only if you are comfortable with your voice being cloned for the client's internal CX AI Agent.

Key Responsibilities

• Record high-quality voice samples across diverse script types (conversational, narrative, instructional, and more)
• Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
• Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery style across all recording sessions
• Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment setup, microphone configuration, and file formatting
• Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style as directed

Requirements

• Native Canadian French speaker currently based in Canada, with the ability to deliver neutral, accent-free international French
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone, quiet space, pop filter, etc.)
• Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
• Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining a natural delivery
• Reliable availability for 5–10 hours per week throughout the project duration

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience recording for TTS systems, audiobooks, IVR platforms, or AI voice datasets
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm
