Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning at Mercor

Swiss German Voice Actor (CX AI Agent) | $50–150/hr | Remote – Switzerland

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to develop next-generation text-to-speech (TTS) systems. We are seeking native Swiss German speakers based in Switzerland to provide high-quality voice recordings for training and evaluating advanced speech models. Your voice will be used exclusively for a client's internal CX AI Agent — recordings will not be sold, licensed, or repurposed.

Key Responsibilities

• Record high-quality voice samples across diverse script types (conversational, narrative, instructional, etc.)
• Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
• Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions
• Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment setup, microphone configuration, and file formatting
• Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style as required

Requirements

• Native Swiss German speaker currently residing in Switzerland
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone, quiet space, pop filter, etc.)
• Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
• Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining natural, authentic delivery
• Reliable availability for 5–10 hours per week throughout the project duration
• Important: Your voice may be cloned for the client's CX AI Agent. Please only apply if you are comfortable with voice cloning. Recordings will not be sold or reused outside this specific use case.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience recording for TTS systems, audiobooks, IVR platforms, or AI voice datasets
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles — conversational, corporate, energetic, calm, and more
