Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning at Mercor

Voice Actor (Bahasa Indonesia, Female) | $50/hr | Remote – Indonesia

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to develop next-generation text-to-speech (TTS) systems. We are seeking Indonesia-based, native Bahasa Indonesia-speaking female voice actors to provide high-quality voice recordings for training and evaluating advanced speech models. Please note: your voice may be cloned for a client's CX AI Agent — apply only if you are comfortable with voice cloning.

Key Responsibilities

• Record high-quality voice samples across diverse script types (conversational, narrative, instructional, and more)
• Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation
• Maintain consistency in voice, accent, and delivery across multiple recording sessions
• Follow detailed recording guidelines covering environment setup, microphone configuration, and file formatting
• Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and vocal style as required

Requirements

• Native Bahasa Indonesia speaker currently based in Indonesia
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone, quiet space, pop filter, etc.)
• Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range
• Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining a natural, engaging delivery
• Reliable availability throughout the project duration

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in English in addition to Bahasa Indonesia
• Prior experience recording for TTS systems, audiobooks, IVR, or AI voice datasets
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper
• Ability to deliver multiple vocal styles — conversational, corporate, energetic, calm, and more
