Voice AI Research Participant | $10–20/hr | East & West Africa (Remote)

Join a paid research study testing a new voice assistant via real phone calls. We're recruiting 50 participants across Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, and Nigeria to help shape the future of AI-powered voice technology for African users.

What You'll Do

• Make 5 phone calls to a voice assistant over approximately one week
• Ask real questions from your own life across topics such as health, farming, business, education, practical services, or anything you genuinely want to explore
• Complete a short 5-minute survey after each call
• Each call lasts approximately 5–15 minutes, ending naturally at your own pace

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older (diverse age ranges encouraged)
• Located in Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, or Nigeria
• Comfortable speaking English
• Willing to consent to call recording (audio and transcript) for evaluation purposes

Preferred Profiles

• Feature phone users or smartphone users with limited data access
• Little to no prior experience with AI assistants
• Diverse mix of genders and rural/urban backgrounds

Compensation & Logistics

• Paid based on actual time spent per completed call and survey
• All call costs are fully covered — participants pay nothing
• Total commitment: approximately 2–3 hours over 2 weeks
