Warehouse & Inventory Specialist | $45–60/hr | Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced shipping, receiving, and inventory professionals to support a leading AI lab in advancing research for next-generation machine learning systems. This unique engagement allows you to leverage your manufacturing logistics expertise to create realistic scenarios and validate AI training—all while working remotely on your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world shipping, receiving, and inventory work in manufacturing environments
• Create realistic situations involving shipment processing, receiving inspections, inventory tracking, and warehouse documentation
• Develop scenarios for handling discrepancies, coordinating with carriers, managing stock levels, and using inventory management systems
• Review and evaluate AI responses to logistics and inventory queries for accuracy and adherence to industry standards
• Provide detailed feedback on manufacturing logistics scenarios to improve AI training quality

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience as a shipping, receiving, or inventory clerk in manufacturing
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities
• Proficient with computers and navigating various software systems
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills
• Ability to pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz
• Average 14 years of experience preferred

Engagement Details

• Fully remote and asynchronous—complete work on your own schedule
• Expected workload: 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to scale up to 40 hours
• Project duration: approximately 6 weeks, starting immediately
• Independent contractor engagement with weekly payments via Stripe Connect
