Role Overview: Join Mercor as a web development and design expert, collaborating on high-impact projects that shape the future of AI. You'll work with top-tier teams to build, evaluate, and refine web experiences, ensuring usability, performance, accessibility, and brand consistency.

• Design information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Develop responsive, accessible web apps and sites using modern front-end stacks (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, SvelteKit)
• Establish and document visual systems, component libraries, and design systems
• Conduct usability testing, heuristic reviews, and synthesize UX research
• Optimize for performance, SEO, analytics, and conversion through A/B testing
• Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility and implement security best practices
• Review and refine AI-generated UI, copy, and layouts

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in web development, product design, or UX/UI
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js or similar, CSS/Tailwind
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design
• Familiarity with testing tools (Playwright/Cypress), analytics, and experimentation

Additional Details:

• Flexible, remote, and asynchronous work environment
• Part-time contract (15–25 hours/week) with optional flexibility up to 40 hours/week
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect as an independent contractor
