Wholesale & Technical Sales Reviewer | $50–55/hr | Worldwide Remote

Mercor is seeking experienced wholesale and technical sales professionals to audit AI-generated work product in their own field. This is not a sales role — it's an expert review role where your real-world practitioner knowledge is the product.

What You'll Do

You'll review an AI agent's complete attempt at a realistic sales task — including the original task brief, the agent's actions, files produced, and an AI-generated scoresheet. For each item (approximately one hour of work), you'll answer four key questions:

• Task Realism: Is this a task that would genuinely arise in this job, described accurately?
• Domain Accuracy: Are the standards, figures, regulations, and constraints correct — or is something subtly off that only a practitioner would catch?
• Grading Validity: Does the AI grader's eleven yes/no judgments hold up when you review the actual files?
• Score Defensibility: Band the work yourself — could a practitioner use or accept it? Does the reported score match your assessment?

Who We're Looking For

We're hiring from three specific backgrounds. Apply only to the role that genuinely matches your experience:

• Sales Representatives, Technical & Scientific Products — 4+ years selling technical or scientific products, including hands-on sizing, speccing, and quoting.
• First-Line Supervisors of Non-Retail Sales Workers — 4+ years managing a B2B or distribution sales team, including quota and pipeline oversight.
• Order Clerks — 3+ years in order entry and management for a distributor or manufacturer, handling quotes, POs, and backorders.

Ideal Candidate

You're a strong fit if you've caught a misspecced quote, corrected a rep's proposal before it reached a customer, or untangled an order shipped against the wrong terms. You know the field cold.

This role is less suited for transactional or SDR-style sellers who never specced a product, or account managers who only renewed existing business.

Additional Requirements

• Near-native business English — you'll write a concise rationale for every judgment
• Comfort working with spreadsheets and PDFs to verify that numbers reconcile
