Join a cutting-edge AI research initiative as a project-based contractor, tackling frontier challenges in world models and generative AI. This short-term engagement is ideal for PhD-level researchers seeking exceptional compensation and meaningful additions to their research portfolio.

About the Role

This is a fully remote, asynchronous contractor position spanning 2–3 weeks, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week on projects you accept. You will work on research tasks at the frontier of world model development, including:

• Model development and evaluation
• Video prediction and environment simulation
• Planning and decision-making systems
• Learned latent world representations
• Model-based reinforcement learning

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (or currently enrolled and ABD)
• At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed venue (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated expertise in world models, generative modeling, or model-based reinforcement learning
• Strong independent problem-solving skills with experience on open-ended research tasks
