What the work involves
- Reviewing medical records and performing clinical documentation coding
- Assigning and sequencing ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT codes
- Applying AHA Coding Clinic guidance and the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
- Querying documentation to identify and fill gaps in the record
- Data annotation
Who this role is for
- Expert-level knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT
- Familiarity with AHA Coding Clinic guidelines and the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
- Experience with medical record review and clinical documentation coding
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
