Role Overview

We're seeking a Portuguese AI Tutor to help improve our language models by generating and curating high-quality Portuguese training data. You'll work directly with our technical team to create comprehensive datasets for model training and benchmarking.

What You'll Do

• Create and label sophisticated Portuguese language datasets using our proprietary tools
• Ensure exceptional data quality with particular attention to Portuguese linguistic nuances
• Collaborate on improving annotation tools for Portuguese-specific content
• Contribute to writing projects that enhance our generative AI models
• Work closely with our technical team to refine data collection methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Native-level Portuguese proficiency across all contexts (casual to professional)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Exceptional research capabilities and information synthesis skills
• Ability to make well-reasoned decisions with limited information
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ideal Background

• Experience in technical writing, journalism, or professional content creation in Portuguese
• Demonstrated interest in AI and technological innovation
• Background in linguistics or language education is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $35-$65

Schedule & Requirements

• First Two Weeks: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM PST (Required for training)
• Thereafter: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM in your local timezone
• Computer Requirements: Windows 10 or macOS BigSur 11.0+

Important Notes

• This is a 6-month contract position
• Must be authorized to work in one of our approved countries
• Cannot work concurrently with specified AI companies and tech giants
• Remote work with required timezone overlap during training period
