Audiobook QA Expert – Brazilian Portuguese | $15–20/hr | Remote (Brazil Preferred)

Join a growing team helping shape the future of AI-narrated audiobooks. We're looking for native Brazilian Portuguese speakers who are passionate about audiobooks and have a sharp, analytical ear to evaluate and improve AI text-to-speech narration. This is a part-time, remote role at approximately 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Brazilian Portuguese and assess their naturalness, accuracy, and overall listener experience.
• Identify and log speech errors — including skipped or added words, mispronunciations, incorrect number readings, wrongly expanded abbreviations, unnatural phrasing, and audio artifacts.
• Categorize each issue and mark the exact timestamp or span using our internal review tooling.
• Provide qualitative feedback on overall listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural versus where it disrupts the experience.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail across extended listening sessions.

Who We're Looking For

• Native or near-native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with a genuine, active audiobook listening habit.
• Working proficiency in English sufficient for reporting and team communication (full bilingualism not required).
• Prior experience in annotation, transcription, proofreading, labeling, or other detail-oriented review work.
• A patient, disciplined approach to long-form audio review without sacrificing accuracy.
• Reliable availability of approximately 20 hours per week (~4 hours/day).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in linguistics, editing, voice acting, or audio production.

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. Candidates based in Brazil or regions where Brazilian Portuguese is natively spoken are strongly preferred.
