Audiobook QA Expert — Spanish (US) | $15–20/hr | Remote (US Preferred)

Join a growing team helping shape the future of AI-narrated audiobooks. As a native Spanish speaker and audiobook enthusiast, you'll bring a critical, analytical ear to evaluate text-to-speech narration quality — helping improve the models that power the next generation of listening experiences. This is a part-time, remote role at approximately 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Listen to AI-narrated Spanish audiobooks and assess naturalness, accuracy, and overall listener experience.
• Identify and log speech synthesis errors — including mispronunciations, skipped or added words, incorrect number reading, improper abbreviation expansion, unnatural intonation, and audio artifacts.
• Categorize each issue and mark the precise timestamp or span using dedicated review tooling.
• Provide overall satisfaction ratings and qualitative feedback on where narration feels natural versus where it disrupts the listening experience.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail across extended listening sessions.

Who We're Looking For

• Native or near-native fluency in US / North American Spanish, with a genuine passion for audiobooks.
• Working proficiency in English sufficient for reporting and team communication.
• Prior experience in annotation, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or similar detail-oriented review work.
• A patient, sharp ear and the discipline to stay accurate over long sessions.
• Reliable availability of approximately 20 hours per week on a part-time basis.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI training data, model evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in linguistics, editing, voice acting, or audio production.

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. Candidates based in regions where Spanish is natively spoken are strongly preferred.
