Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire native Castilian (European) Spanish Voice Actors to help improve AI audio capabilities. This is a flexible, remote contract role ideal for experienced voice professionals or those with strong audio backgrounds.

About the Role

You will record audio transcripts to help train and refine an AI model's ability to handle and produce natural-sounding speech. Professional voice acting experience is preferred, though candidates with backgrounds in music, podcasting, radio, television, comedy, YouTube, or Twitch streaming are also encouraged to apply.

Important: You must be a native speaker of Castilian (European) Spanish, born and raised in Spain. This listing is distinct from our Mexican Spanish role — please apply to the variety that matches your native dialect. Proficient English communication skills are also required.

Compensation & Logistics

• $250 USD per finished hour of submitted audio
• Commitment of 2–10 hours per week
• Rolling start — onboarding begins upon contract acceptance and ID verification
• A kickoff call is required before beginning

Requirements

• Ability to deliver a clear, neutral-to-upbeat customer service tone with consistent pacing and enunciation
• Close attention to punctuation — transcripts must be recorded exactly as written or naturally adapted for pacing
• Professional home studio setup including: professional-grade microphone, soundproofing, audio interface, pop filter, and post-production editing software
• Submissions must be WAV format, 44.1 kHz, mono, with under one second of silence at start/end and no audible breathing
