Join a specialized research initiative building expert-authored forecasting data used to evaluate and improve AI models in macroeconomic analysis. This role focuses on interpreting central bank communications from a specific non-G7 institution — depth in one central bank is essential, not a broad global-macro profile.

What You'll Do

• Interpret statements, minutes, speeches, and language shifts from a specific non-G7 central bank in their source language
• Compare current guidance against prior communications and prevailing market expectations
• Assign calibrated dovish-to-hawkish scores and articulate implications for rates, FX, and equities
• Review and grade AI-generated analyses against your professional standard

Who We're Looking For

• Former economist or adviser from the relevant central bank, or a senior local rates/FX strategist with multi-cycle coverage
• Professional fluency in the source language of the central bank
• Deep understanding of the bank's reaction function and real-time communication style
• Typically 8+ years of direct, relevant experience — or strong demonstrated equivalent performance

Preferred Backgrounds

We prioritize candidates from the specific central bank, the BIS, the IMF, leading local institutions, top emerging-markets teams at global banks, and established macro funds. Brand-name experience is a strong signal, but direct expertise and work sample performance are the ultimate qualifiers.
