Company Event Propagation Analyst | $150–$250/hr | Worldwide Remote
Join a cutting-edge financial research initiative building expert-authored forecasting data used to evaluate and improve AI models on real-world financial analysis. This role focuses on company event propagation — identifying related companies ahead of a catalyst event and rigorously estimating how that catalyst transmits across an economic network.
Backgrounds of particular interest include top multi-manager and event-driven funds, leading sector teams at major asset managers and banks, and elite specialist research firms — such as Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Balyasny, D. E. Shaw, and top sell-side sector franchises. Brand-name experience is a strong signal but not a hard requirement; performance on the work sample is the ultimate qualifier.
All tasks are graded on reasoning from a fixed evidence cutoff. Analysts must work without hindsight, data leakage, confidential information, or material non-public information — mirroring the judgment a strong analyst would have made at that exact moment in time.
