Mercor is partnering with a leading legal AI company to evaluate how well AI systems respond to real questions of Spanish law. We are seeking experienced in-house counsel to serve as expert reviewers, comparing AI-generated legal responses and scoring them against a standardized rubric. This is a flexible, high-paying contract engagement ideal for seasoned legal professionals looking to contribute to cutting-edge AI development.

What You'll Do

• Run identical prompts across two AI (LLM) platforms and compare outputs side by side
• Score each AI response against a standardized evaluation rubric provided by the client
• Submit concise, well-reasoned written feedback for every evaluation completed
• Work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as in-house legal counsel practising in Spain
• Strong command of Spanish law, with particular expertise in commercial and contract matters
• Sharp attention to detail and precise written communication skills
• Ability to follow a structured rubric and deliver consistent, high-quality evaluations

Logistics

• Initial commitment: approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for ongoing work
• Confidentiality: all work is covered under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Compensation: USD $140–$150 per hour
