Join Mercor as an Investment Finance Expert and apply your deep, hands-on finance experience to shape the next generation of AI agents. What Makes a Strong Candidate
We're looking for professionals who can construct a complicated problem — not just process volume. Strong signals include: owning the model behind a live deal, leading diligence, defending a valuation to an investment committee, structuring a financing, or authoring the memo others relied on.
We prefer candidates at the senior end of their discipline (VP, Director, Principal, MD, Portfolio Manager, Controller, CFO). Experience across two or more disciplines — or on both the buy side and sell side — is a strong plus. An advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) and/or a recognized credential (CFA, CPA, FRM, or actuarial designation) is preferred but not required.
Eligible institutions include boutique and middle-market advisory firms, PE/VC/credit funds, hedge funds, asset managers, corporate finance and treasury functions, family offices, insurers, banks, lenders, fintech companies, and financial regulators — not bulge-bracket only.
